Partnering for Success:

With years of experience in both the implementation of database solutions and the management of horses, the executives of Animal ID Solutions Inc. are committed to partnering with the best technology providers to provide a one-stop integrated tracking and tracing solution which identifies and tracks an animal over its life span.

Signaturing™ for animal identification and traceability is the cornerstone of the G.A.I.N. Portal. The Signaturing™ process creates a rapidly verifiable, secure, non-corruptible identification profile for each animal. Customers can utilize this solution without needing to make any changes to their core database. Should an animal’s identity ever be questioned for purpose of health, genetics, import, export, reproduction, sport, competition or registration, definitive and non-corruptible proof is captured and maintained to remedy the concerns.

  Microchip (Biochip) Technology

A biochip implant is about the size of a grain of rice and is inserted under the skin The biochip is made up of a microchip, antenna coil, capacitor and a glass capsule.
.
The biochip uses low-frequency RF (radio signals) to communicate with readers. Biochips are passive meaning they don't have a battery and consequently with nothing to wear out have a very long life.

This also means that they remain inactive until a reader “wakes them up” and receives back data from the biochip.

The microchip stores a unique identification number from 10 to 15 digits long. The unique ID number is "etched" or encoded via a laser onto the surface of the microchip before assembly. Once the number is encoded it is impossible to alter. The microchip also contains the electronic circuitry necessary to transmit the ID number to the "reader".

Recent developments include chips with a Bio-Thermo feature that allows you to quickly and safely check an animal's temperature at the site of administration and the use of BioBond®, a biocompatible material that eliminates potential migration and secures the microchip to the administration site.

Using our jumpstart methodology, Animal ID Solutions will conduct an upfront review of your current processes and work with you to understand your requirements and scale a solution to meet YOUR needs.
